I’ve had lowered ear use in my right ear since high school but put off seeing someone for it thinking it wasn’t worth the trouble. If it wasn’t for Dr. Nazarian’s extensive knowledge and his aggression in operating to fix the growth of cholesteatoma, I would’ve lost hearing in my right ear completely. He has always been patient, considerate, and an extremely attentive listener to all my ear problems. I had seen other ENT’s in the past who blew me off or waved off problems insisting they were “nothing”. I would be much worse off without Dr. Nazarian’s expertise and he is a heaven-sent blessing to the medical community.   I’ve been putting off going to see a specialist because my experience before was not very favorable. I spent over $3,000.00 in the ear, hearing aids that did not work. Because of my traveling and the things I do in my life, I really need to hear what people are saying so that I can respond properly and provide the necessary information for me or them. There are many situations that can be life threatening or seriosuly dangerous if you don;t hear properly. I fond myself in situations of adventure and excitement that could be challenging. I had the opportunity to go to Nright Hear for a hearing examination. After the test, they recommended I get a examination for a cochlear implant, and this was the beginning of my experience with The Osborne Head & Neck group and Dr. Nazarian. I was impressed at how knowledgable Dr. Nazarian was about hearing loss and the solutions necessary to restore my hearing. The degree of my hearing loss was so bad that any option would be any improvement. After tests were done, I felt exited about the possibility of recovering some of my hearing. Surgery was scheduled and completed. The whole process of meeting the staff, the doctors, the exams, tests and the whole bottle of wax was a wonderful experience for me. I felt totally at home and very comfortable during the whole process. In fact, thinking now, this was a very major operation! They made it seem simple and easy. Now that I completed 1 month of activation of cochlear implant, my hearing has been restored to a degree from were its maybe 80-90% better from were it was better. I am hearing everything! I’m 5 weeks post op when pictures and video were taken of my ear and it looks great. It’s healing correctly. My incision is not noticeable. My hearing loss improved. I can’t thank him enough.   My name is S.C. and I recently had my BAHA implant in April. I have to say it has been the best decision of my life.   I am T.B. and I am 61 years old and have been healthy this whole time. I like exercise, running, basketball and swimming since I was a little boy until fully grown up.   Soon after our first daughter’s birth, we noticed that her ears did not look normal! We later learned she had “Stahl’s ears”. Our pediatrician suggested we find a doctor to mold her ears within the first two weeks of her life while estrogen from me was still in her system and her ears would be pliable. We could not have been more fortunate to be referred by a family friend to Dr. Nazarian and Dr. Zandifar. They were able to make us feel confident our daughter’s ears would be okay and that she wouldn’t have to have surgery later in life. Within six weeks, her ears were completely transformed with the “ear well” system, basically painless invisalign for ears. Both doctors, both dads, who understood our anxiety as first time parents, could not have been more kind, attentive and wonderful with our daughter throughout the process.
